Poraka Nova organized photo competition “Through Postcards to Inclusion” that supports employability of marginalized groups and provides visibility to photographers (amateurs and professionals).

Project Description

Poraka Nova created unique photo competition that supports marginalized people towards their path of employability and at the same time engage photographers in socialy reposnsbile activity, with highlighting their work that celebrates the beauty of Ohrid lake and the two cities around it, Ohrid and Struga.

Project Duration

2024 May – June

Project Objectives

-to empower general audience, artists, photographers to be included into buidling more inclusive society and supporting marginalized groups;
-to boost employability of the people with dissabilitites
– to pomote the UNESCO region around Ohrid Lake, Ohrid and Struga;;
– to provide passive income for the photographers who were socialy responsible and engaged in this profound activity.

Project Activities

-Opening of the photo comeptition;
-Jury selection of the best 15 photos that will be trasnformed and printed as postcards;
-Design, creation of the postcards;
-Printing the poscards and distribution for star of the sales.

Project Outcomes

– 15000 postacards with 15 various designs and photos.
