Do You Mind?

Project Info

European youth project which aims to support Youth Mental Health by Empowering Youth Information Workers.

Project Description

Do You Mind? is an European project organized by PRONI Centar zasocijalno poducavanje (Croatia), dedicated to improving youth mental health by strengthening the role of Youth Information (YI) workers and directly engaging young people as active changemakers.
Mental health problems are among the leading challenges faced by young people today. Issues such as anxiety, depression, social isolation, and stigma can prevent youth from participating fully in education, employment, and community life. At the same time, youth often do not know where to turn for help, or feel discouraged from seeking it due to negative stereotypes or lack of youth-friendly services.
This project addresses these challenges from two directions:

  • Empowering Youth Information Workers – YI workers are often the first point of contact for young people seeking advice or support. However, many do not have specialized resources or training to effectively recognize and respond to mental health needs. Do You Mind? will equip them with new, innovative tools, practical training, and best practice guidelines to strengthen their ability to provide accurate information, identify risks early, and connect youth to appropriate services.
  • Engaging Young People as Leaders – The project recognizes that mental health support is not only a professional responsibility but also a community effort. It will recruit and train 50 young activists and artists from across Europe to become Youth Mental Health Ambassadors. These ambassadors will co-create an awareness campaign, produce creative works such as short videos and artwork, and develop a

What makes Do You Mind? unique is its use of art and creativity as a bridge between mental health awareness and youth engagement. By combining training, peer-to-peer support, and creative expression, the project creates a safe and inspiring environment for young people to learn, share, and advocate for mental well-being—both locally and at the European level.
