About the Training Course

AI-Ready Youth Work is an Erasmus+ Training Course designed to strengthen the capacity of youth workers to use generative artificial intelligence responsibly, ethically, and effectively in non-formal education.
As artificial intelligence becomes increasingly present in everyday life, youth workers need to understand both its potential and its limitations. During the training, participants will explore how AI tools can support youth work and non-formal education while maintaining creativity, critical thinking, meaningful human interaction, and a human-centred approach.
Participants will explore different generative AI tools, experiment with their practical use, and develop educational activities that can be applied in youth work. The programme will also address important ethical issues related to AI, including privacy, intellectual property, transparency, misinformation, bias, and the environmental and social impact of AI technologies.
The training will use non-formal education methods, including simulations, group work, peer-to-peer learning, debates, case studies, and practical activities.

Objectives of the Training Course
The project aims to:
-Increase participants’ understanding of generative AI, including its opportunities, limitations, risks, and societal impact.
-Strengthen participants’ practical skills in using AI tools to develop non-formal educational activities.
-Encourage participants to think critically and consider ethical aspects before integrating AI into their youth work.
