Are you a young person who is passionate about mental health, creativity, and making a positive impact in your community?
Do you believe that art can be a powerful tool to express emotions, break stigmas, and support others?
If yes — this opportunity is for you!
As part of the European project “Do You Mind?”, we are launching a call for mental health ambassadors from across Europe. These ambassadors will be young activists and artists who will play a central role in designing, creating, and promoting youth-friendly mental health awareness campaigns — both online and offline.
This call aims to bring together 50 creative young minds to address the growing mental health challenges that young people face, and to do so using the power of peer support, visual expression, and digital communication. We strongly believe that young people are not just recipients of support but also key actors in shaping change, especially when it comes to breaking the silence around mental health.
What Will You Do as a Mental Health Ambassador?
As a youth mental health ambassador, you will join an international team of 50 young people who will co-develop innovative and inclusive campaigns to raise awareness and offer peer-level support. Your contributions may include creating engaging images, photo and video content on topics related to mental health, developing social media campaigns, or contributing artworks and visual messages that will be featured in both a mobile and virtual art exhibition.
Whether your interest is photography, painting, poetry, music, illustration, digital art, or street art — your creativity will be welcomed as a tool for telling stories, challenging stereotypes, and offering hope. Together with fellow ambassadors and the support of youth workers and mental health professionals, you’ll shape content that speaks directly to the realities young people face today.
Your participation will be local, national, and international.
- Locally, you’ll represent your community and bring real-life stories to the campaign.
- Internationally, you’ll collaborate with peers from across Europe through online meetings and virtual creative labs.
- Your work will be promoted across multiple channels and presented during ERYICA General Assemblies and events during 2025 and 2026.
What Will You Gain?
Through this journey, you’ll gain valuable experience in creative campaigning, youth advocacy, digital content production, and teamwork. You will develop new social, digital, and communication skills, learn how to plan and execute awareness initiatives, and become part of a network of like-minded young changemakers across Europe.
You’ll be mentored by youth workers and professionals with experience in mental health and youth engagement, and your work will have real visibility and impact, helping to reach and support thousands of young people who may be struggling but unsure where to turn.
In short, you’ll use your voice and talent to support your peers, while gaining recognition, confidence, and new tools for personal and professional growth.
Who Can Apply?
We welcome applications from young people aged 16+.
You don’t need to be a professional artist or an expert in mental health — we are looking for genuine motivation, openness, and a desire to contribute to positive social change.
Whether you’re a student, aspiring creator, activist, or someone who simply cares about mental health and wants to learn how to help, we encourage you to apply.
This is your chance to be heard, to create, and to make a difference.
