We are thrilled to announce our open call for participants for the Erasmus+ youth exchange “Rainbow Ambassadors”, organized by Global Connect Foundation and Foundation for the Development of the Education System from Poland.
Description
This international project brings together 36 young people from Poland, Macedonia, Greece, Spain, Romania, and Ukraine to explore themes related to equality, inclusion, and the rights of sexual minorities. The exchange will promote awareness, tolerance, and solidarity while empowering youth to become ambassadors for change in their own communities.
The project includes interactive workshops, movie screenings with educational discussions, expert-led sessions, and storytelling on real-life challenges faced by the LGBTQ+ community in different countries. Participants will be encouraged to share, learn, reflect, and co-create messages of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
Travel and Location
Both, the APV and the Youth exchange will be realized in Olsztyn, Poland – a charming and historical city in northeastern Poland, surrounded by lakes and known for its dynamic youth scene.

Accommodation and Food
Participants will stay in double or triple rooms equipped with:

24/7 CCTV for safety
All accommodation and meals are fully covered, and travel costs will be reimbursed in accordance with Erasmus+ rules (with proper documentation).
Who is Eligible to Apply?
We are looking for a total of 5 participants from Macedonia, including:

1 youth leader (18+)
-
4 participants (between 18 and 30 years old
Participants profile (but not obliged to)

Are passionate about minority rights, equality, and inclusion
-
Are open-minded and ready to learn in an intercultural environment

Are willing to actively participate and share the experience afterward
-
Have good communication skills (especially important for the group leader)
No previous experience is needed—just motivation and a willingness to grow!

Step 1: Selecting a Youth Leader for the APV
Before the youth exchange takes place, we are looking for 1 motivated young person (18+ years old) to be the group leader and attend the Advanced Planning Visit (APV).
APV Dates:
9–10 August 2025 (+2 travel days)
The group leader will travel to Olsztyn in August to:

Meet organizers and group leaders from other countries

Receive detailed info about the project, logistics, and content

Help plan activities
-
Prepare to support the rest of the Macedonian group during the exchange in October
The same leader will also join the full youth exchange in October, together with the remaining 4 participants.
