We are happy to announce the official launch of our Social Impact NFT (SINFT) project — a forward-looking project that brings together a strong consortium of partners from across Europe. The project aims to harness the potential of emerging technologies like NFTs to empower youth and promote digital inclusion. Over the next three years, we will work together to create innovative educational tools, enhance digital competences, and develop sustainable strategies for inclusive youth engagement.
Our journey began in Ohrid, Macedonia, where the SINFT project partners gathered for the first in-person meeting on April 27–28, 2025. While much of our collaboration had already started online, this two-day meeting provided the opportunity to solidify our shared goals, define responsibilities, and align our efforts for the successful implementation of the project.
The first day was focused on presenting the vision, goals, and structure of the SINFT project. Poraka Nova as a lead partner introduced the project methodology, implementation strategy, and overall timeline, setting the tone for an ambitious and well-coordinated collaboration. Special attention was given to the organization of each working packages, including key activities and tools to be used for communication and collaboration. Following this, the team took a closer look at Work Package 1 (Project Management and Coordination) and Work Package 2 (Creating Opportunities for Virtual Exchanges). These sessions opened space for in-depth discussion around how responsibilities would be shared, how timelines would be respected, and how smooth coordination would be ensured across multiple countries and institutions.
The second day of the meeting focused on the project’s technical and strategic components, specifically those aimed at ensuring long-term sustainability and meaningful impact. This day we focused on the development of the SINFT online learning platform and the creation of NFT-based educational content, which belongs to working package 3. Partners exchanged ideas about the tools and approaches that would be most effective in creating engaging, accessible, and innovative learning experiences for youth and civil society actors. Next, the team smoothly moved to the working package 4 and collaboratively brainstormed the dissemination and branding strategy, outlining the project’s key messages, visual identity, hashtags, and initial communication channels. Discussions revolved around how we will evaluate the project’s progress and ensure that results reach the intended audiences
By the end of the meeting, we had established concrete next steps and assigned responsibilities for the upcoming months.
We are incredibly grateful to all our project partners for their active participation, insightful contributions, collaborative energy and motivation:
