“Sense the World” youth exchange in Romania organized by ATA Youth association from Transylvania.
Project Description
The main aim of the project is to raise awareness and develop empathy among young people about the challenges faced by visually impaired individuals in their daily lives.
It will equip participants with practical skills for supporting visually impaired individuals, such as guiding techniques, mealtime assistance, and basic Braille and assistive technology use. Support personal development and active citizenship by involving participants in co-creating an inclusive final product. Foster inclusion and solidarity by encouraging participants to experience visual impairment through simulations and blindfolded activities.
