On October 24, 2025, in Bitola, Poraka Nova organized a workshop dedicated to youth mental health, aiming to encourage open dialogue and raise awareness about the importance of daily self-care and psychological well-being. The event was part of the “Do You Mind?” project, which seeks to promote mental health through youth activities in local communities.
The workshop provided a safe and friendly environment where young participants had the opportunity to talk about what mental health means to them, why it matters, and how to build resilience to face everyday challenges.
Through interactive exercises, group discussions, and practical activities, participants explored their self-awareness, shared personal challenges, and jointly discovered ways to cope with stress and emotional difficulties.
“Resilience doesn’t mean avoiding difficulties, but learning how to respond and move forward,”was one of the key messages that deeply resonated with the young people.
The workshop was led by Youth Mental Health Ambassadors – a group of local activists from Bitola who actively work to build a caring, listening, and supportive community.
With initiatives like this, the “Do You Mind?” project contributes to breaking taboos, strengthening psychological literacy, and fostering a generation that speaks openly about mental health.
