We are excited to announce a new opportunity for young people from Macedonia to take part in a Youth Workers` mobility in Kayseri, Turkey, under the Erasmus+ program!

Description

The exchange, hosted by the prestigious Abdullah Gül University (AGU)—recognized for its societal impact and innovation—will gather 40 participants from different countries to explore vital themes like:

• The European Green Deal

• Sustainable Development Goals

• European Youth Goals

• Green Transformation & Skills

• Environmental Protection and Recycling

Participants will have the chance to develop training programs for children, create roadmaps for green transformation, and engage in follow-up activities in their home countries—contributing to a sustainable and greener Europe.

Travel and Location

The event will happen in Kayseri, which is located in the southern part of the Central Anatolia region, representing an industrial and cultural hub in Turkey. Famous for its stunning Erciyes Mountain and proximity to the magical Cappadocia, Kayseri offers a mix of modern infrastructure and natural beauty.

• Arrival Date: 28 July

• Departure Date: 6 August

• Travel costs are covered according to Erasmus+ rules. Participants must keep original documents such as flight invoices, boarding passes, and other relevant receipts for reimbursement.

Kayseri Airport (Erkilet) is just 4.3 km from AGU, and the city is well connected by air, bus, and road.
Nearby attractions include:

• Erciyes Mountain (28 km)

• Cappadocia (69 km)

• City Center (2.7 km)

Accommodation and Food

Participants will be accommodated in double or triple rooms in Kayseri.
All costs for accommodation and meals during the exchange will be fully covered by the organizers.

Who is eligible to apply

We are looking for 5 participants from Macedonia, who are:

• Aged 18 years or older (no upper age limit).

• Interested in environmental topics, sustainability, youth work, and European cooperation.

• Motivated to contribute to follow-up green transformation activities after the mobility.

 Participants with prior experience in youth work, non-formal education, or environmental activism are encouraged to apply—but it is not mandatory.
