Are you a youth worker, educator, trainer, facilitator, or community worker interested in strengthening your skills in supporting young people’s mental wellbeing?
We are pleased to announce an open call for participants for the Erasmus+ Training Course “Inside Out: Mental Health in Youth Work”, organized by United Societies of Balkans within the framework of their Erasmus+ Youth Accreditation.
This international training course will bring together participants from different countries to exchange experiences, build competencies, and discover innovative approaches related to mental health in youth work.
Title: Inside Out: Mental Health in Youth Work
Dates: 1–9 August (including travel days)
Location: Thessaloniki, Greece
Participants per organization: 2 participants

The training course aims to empower youth workers with practical knowledge, non-formal education methods, and psychosocial support skills that can help them support young people in a safe, responsible, and sensitive way.
During the training, participants will have the opportunity to:

- Experience creative and non-formal education methods
- Explore Psychological First Aid as a first-support approach
- Strengthen active listening and supportive communication skills
- Learn how to observe when a young person may need support
- Understand referral pathways and the limits of the youth worker’s role
- Reflect on burnout and emotional exhaustion in youth work
- Develop self-care and healthy boundary-setting strategies

Financial Conditions
Travel, accommodation, and food costs will be covered according to Erasmus+ programme rules and the approved project budget.
