Poraka Nova is pleased to share an opportunity for youth workers, educators, counselors, volunteers, and professionals working with young people to participate in the Erasmus+ training course “MINDY Goes Around”, organized by PRONI Centre for Social Education in Croatia.
The training will gather 21 participants from different countries and focus on strengthening knowledge and skills related to youth mental health and emotional wellbeing in youth work and youth information settings.
About the Training
“MINDY Goes Around” is based on the needs of youth information work in the field of mental health literacy and covers topics such as:
- Understanding Mental Health in Youth Work
- Identifying Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing in Young People
- First-hand Support Techniques
- When and How to Bring in Professional Help
- Youth Perspectives on Mental Health
The training aims to:
- Raise awareness about youth mental health issues
- Equip participants with practical tools and knowledge
- Strengthen capacities of youth workers and professionals supporting young people
Participant Profile
The training is open to:
- Youth workers +20 years old
- Youth information workers
- School counselors
- Teachers
- Community workers
- Volunteers
- Other professionals working with young people
Participants should:
- Be motivated to actively participate during the entire training
- Have medium to high level of English
- Be open-minded and inclusive
Please note that attendance at all sessions is mandatory, as this is a full learning experience and not a touristic visit.
Accommodation & Meals
Participants will be accommodated in shared 6-bed rooms in Pirovac, Croatia.
Three meals per day will be provided throughout the activity.
Accommodation and food costs are fully covered by the Erasmus+ programme.
Travel Reimbursement
Travel costs will be reimbursed according to Erasmus+ distance calculator rules and based on actual travel costs within the approved travel budget.
Participants must keep and submit:
- Boarding passes
- Tickets
- Invoices and receipts
- Other travel documents
Reimbursements will be processed after the activity and after all required documents and reports are submitted.
Important Notes
Applicants should complete the application form only if they are almost certain they can participate in the training.
In parallel with the application form, participants are also required to complete and upload the Learning Agreement.
After participant selection, organizers will create a WhatsApp group for communication and preparation.
The training is organized by the PRONI Centre for Social Education, a Croatian non-profit organization dedicated to youth empowerment, peacebuilding, and non-formal education.
