The youth exchange “The New Green Me” is an Erasmus+ youth exchange of associations interested in new methodologies to engage young people and create a greener and sustainable community. In this mobility, we will discuss and practice new pedagogical tools in the framework of sustainability, green practices and local. The activity aims to bring young people from different European countries and to provide them with the opportunity to share ideas, opinions about all that concern the realities of climate change, sustainable development, and climate preservation.
During the mobility, the participants will be involved in some interactive activities to make cleaning action interventions in the city and/or county cleaning natural areas from trash and planting. They will know the community through the interaction with citizens with the aim to identify the needs of the inhabitants. Then, the participants will learn new concepts and possible solutions which they can adjust and implement in their daily lives and in their own local communities.
Logistics
Mobility period: 10th November 2023 – 16th November 2023 (+2 travel days)
Location: Šibenik (Šibenik-Knin County, Croatia).
Accommodation: Hostel Scala
Food: 3 meals per day will be provided by the hosting organisation.
Countries: Croatia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Spain, France
Hosting organization: Udruga mladih “Mladi u EU”
Eligibility
Young people who wants to be participate in activities connected to green planet, ecology, sustainable communities.
We will select 4 participants (17-30 years old), 1 group leader (18 – no age limit).
Travel costs
Travel costs will be reimbursed to each participant. The hosting organisation is responsible for your tickets reimbursement.
KEEP ATTENTION: To receive your reimbursement keep all tickets, reservations and confirmations! For this reason, it is important to keep in mind that if you will do the check in for your flight through an online app (e.g. Ryanair), MAKE A SCREENSHOT of your boarding pass, because it might disappear after you have concluded your trip!
